This year, the award program has expanded significantly, with 26 new categories reflecting emerging trends in urban development, digital services, gastronomy, film, and events. The total number of nominations now exceeds 40.
Winners will be chosen by an independent jury of representatives from relevant city authorities and industry bodies. In a new format for 2025, special awards will be judged by a separate expert panel, while the Moscow Tourism Committee will present two distinct accolades. New highlights include awards for inclusive projects, industry media, and restored cultural heritage sites with tourism appeal.
The full shortlist is available on the award’s official website.
Over its 26-year history, the Guiding Star award has celebrated 344 organizations, projects, and leaders who have shaped Moscow into a more dynamic and welcoming destination.
