Meeting Place Orbita – reinventing a historical point of attraction

It's crucial to have the range of basic goods and services which you can get within walking distance from where you live, if you experience the hectic pace of daily life in megalopolis. At the same time, one should not forget that Muscovites often spend their free time outside their home: they meet friends, spend time with their family, etc. Thus, the Meeting Place Orbita has all the chances to become a new centre of attraction for the Nagatinsky Zaton district combining leisure and shopping functions.

Orbita has a new architectural concept which meets all contemporary trends: the inner space is a barrier-free environment, and the facade has a large glazing area which creates the effect of openness to the city. Also, there is an open terrace on the roof of the neighbourhood centre inviting residents to enjoy creative workshops, seasonal fairs, sports and entertainment events, and outdoor movie screenings during the summer months.
