ADG Group begins the construction of the second batch of neighbourhood centers in the network

AUGUST 03, 2018
At the end of July, the company began redevelopment of abandoned buildings in the North and Northeast Moscow – the former movie theaters Neva in the Levoberezhny District, Mars in the Altufyevsky District, and Rassvet in Koptevo.
All three sites are part of ADG Group’s plan to create a network of 39 neighbourhood centres. The project involves turning former Soviet cinemas into modern neighbourhood centres. These compact, multifunctional public space locations in the residential neighborhoods of Moscow will offer all advantages of commercial real estate, serving as comprehensive proximity shopping and quality leisure sites and facilitating further development of social and cultural life in the respective districts.

The neighbourhood centres Mars, Neva, and Rassvet will house modern movie theaters, creative workshops, cafes and restaurants, supermarkets, health & beauty salons, and one-stop shops. Residents will enjoy new recreation space as the centres will host thematic and seasonal fairs and sporting and entertainment events related to the community life, indoors as well as on summer terraces.

Mars, Neva, and Rassvet are part of the second batch of the network sites, currently in the active phase of the redevelopment process. Reconstruction of these three facilities is slated to finish in late 2019. In total, construction works are so far underway at eight sites out of 39.
